Dignity In Death

Allegheny County is the second oldest county (out of over 5,000 counties) in the entire country. Dry Bones Ministries is committed to spreading the word about the beauty of life at all stages and strives to provide families with the support they need to care for their elderly in a dignified way as their earthly journey draws to a close. Please continue to pray for our current projects and plans for a Catholic nursing home in the Pittsburgh area.

“The wisdom and experience of the elderly are recognized as a unique source of enrichment for the family and society.
And when earthly existence draws to a close, it is again charity which finds the most appropriate means for enabling the elderly, especially those who can no longer look after themselves, and the terminally ill to enjoy genuinely humane assistance and to receive an adequate response to their needs, in particular their anxiety and their loneliness."
(St. John Paul ll, Evangelium Vitae).
